We offer excellent salaries, which include sick leave entitlements.

With TEACH UK you will be paid an annual salary according to your teaching experience and the location of your placement. Our client schools are primarily in the outer suburbs of London, the surrounding areas of Southern England and the Midlands, although vacancies do arise in other parts of England.

Teachers are paid in equal monthly instalments. The annual salary scales as of September 2008 are detailed below. This table shows both the annual salary and the approx. daily rate you will be paid. TEACH UK does not deduct any commission from this amount.

Salary rates and the location of our schools

The highest rate of pay applies to schools that are in any London Borough either an inner or an outer Borough. "Fringe areas" refers to schools not in London, but in areas from where people can commute easily to the centre of London. For more detailed information on these locations click here

The daily rates of teachers appointed through TEACH UK compares favorably with the salary received by British teachers with the same number of years of experience.

Our teachers are paid as "Overseas Trained Teachers", and can teach up to 4 years in the UK without being required to obtain the British Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
With TEACH UK, your Australian and New Zealand qualifications are recognised and you are paid appropriately.

Schools appointing TEACH UK teachers will employ them directly. All interviews with Head teachers will be arranged by TEACH UK on the basis that a school agrees to pay the teacher the salary rates advertised above.
